Making the most of ample unfinished space in a backyard surrounded by lush greenery, the homeowners wanted something that fit in well with the traditional style home and rustic charm of the wooded backyard. Working with the family, the team at Montano’s Landscaping designed and built a tranquil, cozy and lush backyard space for relaxation, family time, and entertaining.

A raised patio features an outdoor kitchen and step-down fire pit seating area. A custom-built wood sunshade provides attractive sun protection and cools the area for year-round use. Water features provide a soothing soundtrack while a weathered wood plank wall decorated with potted plants pleases the eyes.

A selection of colorful, lush plants match the surroundings while providing splashes of color throughout.

"Montano's Landscaping tore out the existing deck and swingset that had seen better days in our yard and replaced it with a gorgeous bi-level stone patio with a fire pit. Carlos did a great job with the design and lighting we added to both the patio and trees in our backyard. He was also able to reslope the side of our yard back to its original state once the swingset box was removed. We are thrilled with how amazing our new patio looks and how well it functions! We ended up rehiring Montano's Landscaping this past summer to redo our retaining walls in the front, which also look beautiful and professionally done."
